Tripoli Minnesota Winter Meeting

This month, we will have a discussion on electronics & recovery electronics, put on by Steve Anderson.

Tripoli Minnesota Febuary Meeting
Submitted by tripoli on Wed, 01/14/2009 - 15:19.This winter, we will again be holding meetings at Farview Park in North Minneapolis. It's somewhat centrally located and not too far off of I-94, and plenty of free parking. Meetings will start at 7pm and be on the second Tuesdays of the month.
In addition to planning and talk, we were hoping to add a short session on various rocketry technologies. Things like HPR101, doing dual deploy, air start, fiberglass, etc. What subject are you interested in? Let me know at wdtj@yahoo.com. Also, if you consider yourself an expert in any of these area, please consider volunteering to give a short (I'm hoping to keep it under 30 minutes), informal presentation, with visual aids (rockets, etc). We have a lot of new people who are interested in getting started in HPR, but are not quite sure where to start. This is the place.
Farview Park is on Lyndale Ave in North Minneapolis. Take I-94 to the Dowling exit and head south on Lyndale, or exit on Broadway and head north on Lyndale.

January Tripoli Business Meeting
This winter we will be holding a series of evening business meetings at Farview Park Recreation Center, 621 29th Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Meetings start at 7pm.
Farview park is fairly centrally located in North Minneapolis. It's relatively easily to get to from Interstate 94.
If coming from the north, exit on Dowling Ave, go west to Lyndale Ave. Then south on Lyndale to 29th Ave. The park and rec center will be on your left. Click here for a map

Happy New Year to everyone. Hopefully you were all good boys and girls and Santa brought you all a bunch of cool rocket stuff for Christmas. With the beginning of the New Year comes our January meeting, which is scheduled for next Tuesday the 9th at Farview Park located at 621 29th Ave N in North Minneapolis. We will be starting at 7pm and as always you are welcome to bring your winter projects for show and tell.
Just a reminder that club dues can be paid at the meeting or online ahead of time to help ease the opening day work load on your launch officials.
I will be sending a reminder on Monday and would be glad to mention any special project you plan on bringing. Just drop me an e-mail and I will include it in my next announcement. Hope to see you all next week.
